I have always banked at a credit union. One thing I didn't think of was where my mortgage and car payment resides. Both are will huge banks. I didn't even think of this until I watched your video. Time to move those as well.

It is available free online www.chrismartenson.com/crashcourse Also, I know that I may not be average in this sense, but I do want to put it out there that it is possible to function in the capitalist economy without having any bank account at all. I have done it for years.

Let's "End the Fed" and replace it with a transnational central bank with a single fiat currency! JK I wish I could afford to bank with the Lakota National bank, they back their deposits with real Gold and Silver, redeemable any time.

I didnt start using it for this particular reason though. I did it because the service is genuinely better in local banks, and its supporting local business's.

However, this will get me to stay there.
