About Me: Im a stay at home artist mommy who is raising my children to "stand up" and be counted in this world. We go to peace rallies and support the troops candle vigils. Monthly we clean out our toys and donate them to a less fortunate person or family. We are a buddhist family who loves, celebrates and fights for our brothers and sisters.

How I would like to change the world:: This is a trus story that I experienced a few years ago, it actually changed who I was and am as a person. I want to do a documentary about the homeless here in KC. We live in a very very affluent area and homelessness is not tolerated and even shunned and hidden from view.

Tools I Have: My heart, soul and words to bring a voice to other "beths" and to show my children whats truly important in this world. It doesnt matter if your considered a crack whore, you are no less important than the president.

Tools I Need: Video camera, mine was stolen at toys r us while filming my son getting his first pair of big boy underwear.

Favorite Bands: FLOBOTS for sure, I love Bob Marley, Flipsyde, The samples, Paul Simon, Coldplay, Rage against the machine, and many many many others.

I've been trying to get in contact with all the organizers of the mid-north region. The Sustainability packets were posted by Seth in the Organizer's group and we're trying to get teams to meet up and have a Sustainability session. Please contact Seth ASAP; she's been trying to reconnect with all organizers.

Also, we're planning a regional gathering for the mid-north region. Looks like the date is October 17th and we are going to be meeting here in Chicago. I hope this gives the KC team enough time to plan a road trip!
