Did you see those banners around the edges of the park? Those were ours (and were heavy as hell). Were you in town for it? Wasn't the police presence astonishing? The newspaper said there were 700 officers at the veterans' march. Wow. I was really a little scared by all their gear, though I know it's just regular people underneath it all. Anyway, I'm glad the week is over, even though it was great.
