Thanks for responding. Too bad you weren't able to make it this past Saturday. We had some good discussions and good pizza. We are planning another meeting on the last Saturday of this month. So hopefully you can make it. Right now we are researching how to start up our own gardens so we can start sustaining ourselves by sharing what we grow. Eventually once we get bigger we can begin feeding others who are struggling to feed themselves. We will post a discussion on the group board so we can have people grow a variety of produce. You can also get other friends and family members involved. For those who are interested, we will be going this Saturday Feb. 7th to the Laemmle Sunset 5 Theater in West Hollywood to watch the movie "Crips and Bloods: Made in America". Let me know if you're interested because we will be carpooling to the movie. The last thing is Movie Night on Friday Feb. 20th at 6 p.m. at Sarah's house. If you're interested, send me a message and I'll give you the address. Hope to see/talk to you soon. You can also e-mail me at tkead209@yahoo.com.
Hey Floressitarockera, welcome to the Inland Empire Street Team!! How was your holiday? I hope you had a great New Years! With the New Year comes many new and exciting personal dreams, and dreams for our community, I'm sure! We are having a Movie Night this Friday at Cynthia's place in San Bernardino. Check out the Discussion board for more details. Hope to see you there!!
Thanks for getting involved. We look forward to working with you. Have you thought about which tools you have that don't require money? It is likely that you already are rolling up your sleeves and getting in there, but there are plenty of ways to make the world a better place and most of them take dedication and hard work instead of money. If you need help with basic needs, i.e. food, shelter, and comfort, resources in your area are available for the asking, and I (or anyone else here) can help you in gaining access.
I am primarily focused on food security and sustainable cities; See my profile for more information.
Keep up the good work.

Hey rockera. Glad to see you on here. Hope all is well. If you didn't know, we just had a group meeting this past Wednesday. It was really fun getting to know everyone. We are looking to do some volunteer work for the Christmas holidays, either at a homeless shelter, church, or community center. Some of our group members are looking into that and we should have an event planned within the next 2 weeks. We hope you can join us and provide input on things we can do or any thoughts you have on which direction the group should go. To find us you can click on groups at the top of the page and click on Inland Empire. There you can see what's coming up next and become a member if you would like. Hope you have a good day and i'll talk to you soon.
