A quick message about the Fight With Tools event!
The ACTIVATE Tour Mideast Regional Meet-up in DC has arrived. We’ll be gathering tomorrow at 6pm at a venue close to Columbia Heights metro (please find directions below).
We’re writing to share a few last minute details:
a) We’ll be gathering from 6pm - 9pm tomorrow Friday evening, and from 9am - 8pm on Saturday. If you’re running late or have to miss part of our time, we appreciate you letting us know so we can make the appropriate food arrangements.
Feel free to invite your friends to join us. Along with using the FWT’s site, a Facebook event can be found here.

c) Food will be provided, but please feel free to bring any snacks or personal contributions. We’ll have vegetarian, vegan, & gluten-free options available. Also, we have a shortage of plates and cups, so to help us be as sustainable as possible, please feel free to bring your own plate, cup, and utensils if you can.

For those traveling by Metro: When you exit Columbia Heights metro, go North on 14th St. and turn left onto Newton St. St. Stephen’s will be on your right one block down and the entrance is on the Left side of the building.
