Hey, I just moved to Prescott from Denver and this seems to be the closest street team to my new location, is everyone here from Phoenix itself or would there be anyone interested in activating closer to flagstaff and the tricity area? I'd love to organize a wake-up session since I've been to a couple myself in Denver but I'd need to know who'd be interested or not.

How I would like to change the world:: I would like to show people a way of actively influencing things around them. When people see clear problems with their world it becomes easier to allow themselves to be controlled by their television, computer, or social life instead of facing what they should be doing. I would simply like to win a clear but possibly small victory against consumerism, and the flaws of allowing corporate monopolys to determine the interests of the world instead of the people who fund them. I don't want to be told who to like, what to do, and how to live.

Tools I Have: Pride in the possibility of humanity, self awarness, a strong sense of purpose, new connections with intelligent people daily, and way too much free time.

Tools I Need: A better understanding of how to influence seemingly unmovable people. More political experience would be nice as well as the ability to go back to college.

It'll take a considerable amount of effort to organize people that are so sprawled out across Az. That's not at all to suggest that it can't be done, because, it certainly can.

I've heard back from a couple of the PHX members, but, for the most part the PHX group appears to be defunct. I'm afraid that it's possible that the PHX group like many other activist groups has lost thier zeal after election season.

With the Fight With Tools national conference fast approaching at the end of the year, we are still in need to host the close to 200 Street Team members from across the country coming to the Denver area. If you can house just one person, it would be a great help to me, the conference and Street Teamers across the country.

Incoming street teams are allowed to bring up to three members to the conference and we are asking if you can host up to three members from December 29th-31st. Currently, we are only about halfway to our matching our need so any help is greatly appreciated.
