About Me: The Youth and Militarism Program organizes in Denver, Colorado against the militarization of youth, especially in schools. Military recruitment tactics can be misleading and sometimes outright deceptive. We provide information that military recruiters won't tell you--how youth of color and low income youth get tracked into the military, that military money for college isn't easy to get, and how recruiters often make promises that they can't keep. We also help folks who would like to organize against militarism in their own communities.
