As advocate and activist Marian Wright Edelman says, 'Service is the rent we pay for living...it is the true measure, the only measure of our success.'

About Me
I'm from the bay area, born and raised. Currently, I'm living back and forth from the bay to Sacramento. I'm a Government major, wanting to help the world change in a positive direction. I'll be graduating Spring 2009 from California State University: Sacramento. I want to some day work for the environmental protection agency in order to completely reform it to what it should be doing: protecting the environment. I'm really friendly and out going. I'm extremely motivated and dedicated in working for public service. I do as much volunteering as possible, especially in campaigns I believe in.
I appreciate the right to vote so much! So many fought and sacrificed their entire lives in order to give the right to vote to all and people should always remember this.
=)
How I would like to change the world:
Communication and spreading the word of society's issues and informing people how they can truly make a difference.
Tools I Have
I'm living in California's state capitol, there are endless resources here. I have great motivation and determination.
Tools I Need
Whatever people are willing to give in order to help out, everything and everyone can help.
Favorite Bands
I absolutely love all sorts of music!!! Some of my absolute favorite musicians are:
Rise Against, Flobots, Anti-Flag, The 88, Flipsyde, Middle Class Rut, Coldplay, Matt Costa, Ben Harper, Tom Petty and the Heatbreakers, Fandangle, Pepper, Sublime, 311, Shwayze, The Eagles, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Audioslave, Deftones, Linkin Park, Hinder, Nirvana, Streetlight Manifesto, Atreyu, The Bravery, 10 Years, Slightly Stoopid, The Dandy Warhols, Nickelback, Sick Puppies, The Kooks, Wolfmother, Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Long Beach Dub All Stars, Indofin, The Shins, Death Cab for Cutie, Postal Service, The Briggs, Street Dogs, Cake, Dispatch, Jo De Messina, Sarah Buxton, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lavato, Kate Nash, Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse, Carolina Liar, Duffy, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, John Mayer
I know I have a pretty strange mix of music that I absolutley love

Hey jessica. How are things going with you? Are you done with school yet? Its good to see the group is active. Hopefully we can get things moving back down here soon. Hey I was wondering if your street team would be interested in joining the west coast conference? I'll be talking to Seth soon and I know she's been wanting to do something out here. I'm contacting all the street teams on the west coast to see what they would like to do. If anything else we can get the Cali get together going. I think that would be really fun. Let me know what's up.
hey i recently joined fight with tools, and look forward to meeting you and some of the members from the bay area group at the wake up session this sunday. I'll be getting there a lil later, around 1:30, cause i have work. I also wanted to make sure i go to the right place, so its at the chill cafe on Kearny St. , in san francisco right? Thanks.
hey sorry i havent been around in awhile but i hear there was a meeting or something this weekend . so i would love to go, if i haven't been kicked out for not showing up for a few meetngs.
thanks jessica how to see you soon
Hello, I think we have some street team members that want to meet in San Jose, kind of a pool party barbecue intro at one of the member’s house... we can use this meet to introduce one another and share ideas for the team. I believe the member has a post on the idea. I personally feel this meet would be great if we had you on board.
Hey, I'm from East Bay. Where is most of the group from?
And I heard about Fight With Tools at a MCNC conference in Denver. Some people from the Denver group were there talking to us and got me interested.
