Sorry to get back to you so late. We the People got canceled so we weren't able to do that. But they are supposed to do it again in February so we'll see if Flobots will be there. I have a younger cousin too that's interested in making a change too, so don't worry about your age. But its good to hear your parent's are supporting change as well. I haven't heard of CCV. Is that where you go to church?
Sorry for the late reply. Just been somewhat over consumed on daily stuff. I hope this finds you well. Just as New American mentioned, we have all been really busy.
We have somewhat been inactive the past months. There is no real excuse, on my part, but I do hope we get together soon. I am glad to see you on here and part of our street team. I hope in the near future we can get some organization, and begin once again activating.
If there is anything you would like to start or would like to discuss, please let us know or post on the IE street team group page. Welcome! and I hope we get a meeting organized soon, that way we can all meet.

Hey there James. Yeah La Verne is not too far from where I live. I pass through there every time I go to work in L.A. I also have a friend who lives there. Its good to see that you are wanting to make a change and willing to do something about it. Our street team isn't doing too much right now. Many of us have been busy with work lately, but we are trying to support more local shops, buy from local food markets, use less energy, and maybe even support local community gardens in someway. The one thing we are definitely doing is going to "We The People" in L.A. to see the Flobots next Sat. Nov. 21st and helping with the Activate Booth for FWT. Let me know if you would like to help or if you will end up going. The festival is for the whole family and there are lots of things to do all day. The Flobots play at 8 pm I think, but we'll be there way before that. Check out this website: http://www.wethepeoplefestival.com/2009/
