About Me
I'm 22, the age of enlightenment. I haven't seen everything, but I have seen enough to form my own opinions. The 22 woes, I guess you could say. The days of care free enjoyment are lost with those long summer days we used to have as kids.
I graduated high school when I was 16 in 2002. I'm a graduate of CPCC since 2004 and almost finished my BA in 2005. I do hold education in high regard, but not any more or less than back breaking work and diligence. The world we live in looks at college graduates working jobs outside of their studied fields and college dropouts who are millionaires as luck of the draw. I'm glad I'm associated with the middle ground.
I've had a typical hard knock life; as all who are the abundance of generation X. In the recent years, to much astonishment, I have changed a few of my less than amicable attributes. Being bullheaded or otherwise hateful hadn't brought me very far. The sudden yet sickening realization that college was half way over, I knew too many things to be so ignorant.
...(a few more things)

I hate aspects of the world we live in. Such as, people who don't even deserve it, are given the world just to squander it away. When there are others that would sacrifice life and limb to buy a little security in life.
You have to work hard to earn everything, including respect.
Until the world around me budges from it's ignorant, selfish stance I won't budge on my beliefs.
I'm not perfect and I don't look for it.
I love my friends.
I love music.
Remember to always expect the worst, but hope for the best...
How I would like to change the world:
Bridge the economic gap, put power back into the peoples' hands, fight peacefully and non-meliciously, demand things to change and BE HEARD. Generation X is the last of the homegrown ideals. We're the last promise to carry on our parents triumphs and make change happen.

Also, to legalize marijuana and pull ourselves out of the deficit within a few short years. Just so we can say, "We told you so!"
Tools I Have
I have will power and self control. Wisdom beyond my years and a street wise education from my youth in Chicago. I surround myself with only people that have vast vocabularies and even wider minds. My determination has gotten me this far into my success and I don't see it betraying me now.
Tools I Need
I need people. Just as a tyranical, ignorant president needs voters, I need believers. Power in numbers is the key and the only way to be noticed. I need people with blind strength and willingness to go the extra mile. People who would sit in the cross-sections of downtown Charlotte in protest against the deviation from the median incomes of families in our area. Strong numbers; quality and quanity; effecientcy.

It seems to allude to this world taking shape to a future dystopia.
