At 6:11pm on February 5, 2009, New American said…: We haven't gotten a response from anyone about the Made in America movie for Saturday. If you're still interested in going to the movie this weekend let me know ASAP. If nobody is interested or available, then we might go Friday. We'll already be in L.A. on Friday for work so might as well see it if we're here. The times are at 7:15 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. for both nights. Saturday has additional showings at 1:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.

At 3:42pm on February 2, 2009, New American said…: Hi Angie. We had some good discussions and good pizza this past Saturday at the meeting. We are planning another meeting on the last Saturday of this month. So hopefully you can make it. Right now we are researching how to start up our own gardens so we can start sustaining ourselves by sharing what we grow. Eventually once we get bigger we can begin feeding others who are struggling to feed themselves. We will post a discussion on the group board so we can have people grow a variety of produce. You can also get other friends and family members involved. For those who are interested, we will be going this Saturday Feb. 7th to the Laemmle Sunset 5 Theater in West Hollywood to watch the movie "Crips and Bloods: Made in America". Let me know if you're interested because we will be carpooling to the movie. The last thing is Movie Night on Friday Feb. 20th at 6 p.m. at Sarah's house. If you're interested, send me a message and I'll give you the address. Hope to see/talk to you soon. You can also e-mail me at tkead209@yahoo.com. Did you call me the last movie night? I heard you went. How did you enjoy it? I didn't recognize the number and they didn't leave a message. Unfortunately I couldn't make it because I was stuck in L.A. traffic.

We are having a get together this Friday at 6:30 p.m. at one of the member's houses in San Bernardino by Cal State. There will be food, discussions on what projects we want to get involved in as a group, and movies. We are using this as a time to get to know each other better, learn about different issues, and start making change happen. Let me know if you can make it and I'll give you directions. Hope you can make it and look forwarding to meeting you. Hope your holidays were good as well.
