2008 Artist Partnerships

Fight With Tools is based on the idea that music is powerful. Since the very beginning of 2008 as Flobots.org was just starting and we were preparing to formally launch this website, musicians were stepping forward to volunteer their efforts

The following is a list of bands and creative organizations who were involved in efforts connected to Fight With Tools in 2008. By investing their talents and inspiring their fanbase, these musicians and organizations helped to register more than 4,000 voters in Colorado and around the nation. In August, many of them also participated in the Tent State Music Festival to End the War, a week of grassroots workshops and marches held during the Democratic National Convention in order to draw attention to issues of peace and human rights. In addition, a number of them have also participated in the grassroots efforts of FightWithFood, an organization created by a Street Team member.

The combined efforts of these bands, their fans, and dedicated street team members is helping to build a new movement for social change.
