Hello again OC. Sheri, you can join any street team you want. Long Beach is fairly close to both. I'm just on here to see if the OC street team needs any help. I can help anyone get access to materials for doing street team meetings, getting people organized, and how to get ideas for community projects. Whatever I can do I will be glad to help. Also, let me know if any of you would be interested in doing a west coast regional gathering. FWT has been going around the country putting together conferences to help is get together, find support and learn from each other, and help build the skills we need to organize and network with local community organizations. The national conference last year was fun and helped a lot of us out a lot. So get back to me as soon as you can so we can start putting this thing together. Also let me know if any of you have any ideas on what you would like to see at the conference that could help you address some of the issues in your community. Feel free to e-mail me at agarciajr36@gmail.com.
Hello All! I know some of you already, but I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I am the West Coast Representative for the National Street Team Council. Please let me know if there is anything I or the council can help you with. We will be more than happy to help. Hope to talk to you all soon.

Saludos a todos y todas!
Many of you have probably already heard about the submedia West Coast
tour, but for those of you who haven't, mark your calendars now and make
ridesharing/carpooling/
trainpooling arrangements to attend the
presentation next Monday, June 1st at 8pm:
The Road Less Travelled
2202 1/2 N Main St
Santa Ana, CA 92706
Suggested donation of $5-10 although nobody will be turned down for lack
of funds.
If you don't know Frank López and submedia, look them up! It's an
important source of independent media, from an anarchist perspective.
I'm sooo sorry I missed it. Between interviews and getting a job, being completely and utterly broke, it was a ruff week. I should probably bow out as a participant, but will send cool young people y'alls way! make pizza not war
I know, I love rise against for it too. I hope they can convince Flobots to at least go veggie.

yeah, maybe they might become full vegetarians after their europeon tour with rise against, they're full vegans and been known to convince bands to convert
That sounds awesome. And if you are budgeting - they let grown ups order from the kids menu... I ordered the dippity doo dog the other day :D
but even if you just get coffee we would love to have you come!
and riseagainst - vegetarians are awesome! :D I asked Jaime if the band was vegetarian and they said partially.. I dont really know what that means - but if I find out I'll let you know.
There's a Native Foods in AV, too? Either one, I'm budgeting, but their coffee's fair trade, no doubt. Maybe even Zapatista Coffee (I'll splain later.!) I Should be free at that time.. I'll try to contact my college age/ high school friendz to come, too.
