Hey I'm looking to the Denver street team for some help. Me and a few of my friends were going to head up for a peaceful counter protest that opposes the Westboro Church and Fred Phelps, he is coming May 22 and 23 to Denver and Boulder. If you don't know them they are a widely renown hate group that is targeting a few schools in the area and protest with vulgar signs. We have gas money and transportation but we were wondering if we might be able to camp out in someones backyard or stay with someone, anyone open? There will be about 4 of us. United For Iran
- The PeaceJam Foundation will be hosting a rally in Boulder this Saturday at the Boulder Courthouse from 11-1. It will be a time for everyone to stand in solidarity with all Iranians and their struggle for true democracy. This is not a political event.

Join us on July 25, 2009 for a rally in your city in support of the Iranian people and in condemnation of the human rights abuses being committed by the Iranian government.

Why not rename to; Boulder County? It's more inclusive, Longmont, Loisville, Lafayette, Lyons etc.
I don't indentify much with Boulder proper.

Hi friends! Myself and ProVets would love to see you all at two really exciting events coming up:

The first one is this Saturday, May 2 at Primitive Soul Tattoo in Lakewood, off Wadsworth and Eastman. 1pm-9pm.

ART FUNK is a live art/graffiti show where all artwork is auctioned off to benefit Denver and JeffCo public schools. We are working with a few organizations to participate as well. Not only are we going to be helping kids through a number of avenues, but there will be BEER! And a raffle for $200 worth of tattoo work. Bring a can of food for Fight with Food as well.

Our second event, the biggie, is the official ProVets launch/unveiling event at the Walnut Room in Denver on Thursday, May 7. Doors at 7, $5 cover with proceeds going to ProVets.

A number of local bands, including an acoustic set by our own Jeff Englehart, will be featured and are graciously lending their time and talent. We're VERY excited about this and hope to see you all. Cash donations will definitely not be turned down and will go towards materials and upcoming events. And of course, ProVets TSHIRTS BY DAN.
