Ahhh, what a grand experience sharing a house with like-minded individuals and learning more about getting the rest of us ATLiens active in the movement, even if the rain made us all seem like "A workshop on heroin." Missed everyone who couldn't make it! Should be hearing from me soon.

Hello "ATLiens".... I am new to this group, and actually wondering if I'm in the right place. I happen to be a resident of the more southern region of Georgia, which is worlds away from Atlanta in social issues and economical needs. However, I don't want to make any rash moves like create a group for Rural Georgians, for one, I'd be a one man/woman crew. Also, this group seems to posses some very intellectual and experienced people who I would love to have more insights from.

Anyway, I guess I'm just saying hello, and if you have any suggestions, I'm sure you will let me know...

still interested. will be away until august, but i can connect you guys with other activists in the area if you'd like to get something started. there are a few new strong ones that have sprouted up in the last month or so, and we've had a good deal of momentum and growth so far. let's organize!

Ok, so I've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm back in here now. I want to hear from other members here on the topic of times during the summer when you could and want to meet for a wakeup session. We have a few new people who want to get involved in FWT, but I also feel that those of us who have been here for a while need to get on the same page, pick each other's minds, and find the efforts and causes in our "jewel of the south" in which to put our collective movement. Please respond with your thoughts and we can move from there to hopefully having ourselves the meeting we need to get the ATL armed and ready!
