Why do many girls use Halloween as an excuse to dress slutty?

I acknowledged this thought a few days ago, when i heard a few of my friends conversing over what they should wear for Halloween, and these 3 girls were trying to plan on what they were going to wear so they matched. One mentioned the power puff girls and one girl responded "i don't want to be the power puff girls, i cant make the costume slutty enough".

I just thought to myself why do so many girls use Halloween as an excuse to dress like a slut? its kind of demeaning to me. When i went to school today, at least 80% of the girls that dressed up, dressed up looking like playboy characters, and wearing revealing clothing.

I'm just speaking my opinion when i say, that i think that this is annoying. I have nothing against clothing like that, I'm a guy, but i still think its just them showing off what they wouldnt on a normal day.

THEY THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH IT. THEY FEEL ITS COOL TO GET ATTENTION AT ALL. HALLOWEEN IS AN UNUSUAL DAY FOR AN EXCUSE CUZ EVERYONE DRESSES UNLIKE THEM SELVES. GIRLS WANNA LOOK SLUTTY SO GUYS LOOK AT THEM, BUT IF THE "RIGHT" GUY ISN'T LOOKING THEN THEY CAN CALL IT SEXUAL HARASSMENT OR SOMETHING. YAY! ANOTHER LAWSUIT?!?!

bottom line is, guys like girls to be naked or a least close to it. this is what i have heard from most my guy friends. now to answer the question why do girls do it? to get the attention silly! not just from guys but from other chicks. girls don't wear makeup to look prettier to a guy, they do it to look better than the other chick. as for costumes, every girl wants to look at herself and see a pin up model or some runnway model, the playboy bunny, the princess, a fairy.... hell lets break it down farther, girls want it all! yup we want looks smarts and everyone to bow to us. lol most just wont admit it. we compete with other women on what we wear how we do our hair or even what car we drive. the funny thing is, most women don't realize that guys think women are their sexiest when they are themselves. yes those fuck me boots are great, the costumes add flare, but down and out its a compitition between females on who can draw the most attention.

i disagree, well for me. i do not like it when a woman is near naked. it shows arrogance, ignorance and desperation. i think that a woman in a nice set of clothes is much prettier then a bare-naked-lady. =]. i take pity on sluts! lololol

ok point, i should have phrased that opening a little better like: there are a good amount of guys who would rather have the lady walking around half naked so that they don't have use their imagination.
