Propaganda is one of the most important creations of war. For example, the only reason communism is bad is because we're told it is. Before WWII, there was a highly respected communist political party. In fact, communism is one of the most efficient forms of government, but once a population is high enough, it can;t work, due to mass rebellion, also once it's big enough, capitalist countries see them as a threat. But this discussion isn't about communism its about propaganda, of course. The greatest form of propaganda is music, often in the form of a government related statement. These include Anti-Flag, Rage Against The Machine, and of course, Flobots. In its simplest form, propaganda is a parent raising their child in their image. Again, in WWII, we are told that Japan sneak attacked Pearl Harbor. They did, but what you probably didn't know is that weeks before the attack, we cut oil supply from Japan reducing them to a 10% supply of what they had, simply because we told them to stop gaining military size and they didn't. I believe propaganda is no longer avoidable. It is even in TV commercials, in some way. The only thing to do is to choose what propaganda you are subjected to, and follow it.

But i digress, to stay in the confines of this thread and unrelated to my website....
I really got alot out of Edward Bernays book titled "Propaganda". He was Sigmund Freud's nephew. He described in general terms all the angles for good propaganda. He stated that "The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society." As misguided as he might have been, everyone from Hollywood to D.C. took it as the only appropriate way to deal with the sheeple (people+sheep). And you see his approach every time you turn on the T.V. 'Cause there is a conscious and deliberate manipulation of your opinions.
I'm a firm believer that each of us has the right to decide when enough is enough. The right to revolt is an individual right and when enough people agree, it happens.

Notice that I didn't critique all of your shirts. Just one. I happen to like the "American Insurgent" and the "Participate in Civil Disobedience" ones.

However, the red star is not about simple revolt. The red star is about control and indoctrination. The red star is responsible for more deaths in the last century than any other political ideology. The red star created the gulags in Russia & North Korea and the cultural revolution in the China. As I said before millions of people killed and hundreds of millions oppressed. Is that really the image you want to put before people when you discuss revolution?

Is that the image you want people to have of you and your revolution? That we should fear if we don't agree?
Dude, I bet I know more about the, "Red Star Logo" than you do.
I've laid out why I find the symbol offensive. If you believe that I'm wrong then please educate me but making assumptions about what I know or don't know is a either a waste of time or the common excuse of those who have drank the kool-aid & believe the propaganda of the star.

Which is it?
I agree 100%

Propaganda is telling people the war is better now, but its worse. Propaganda tells people that Guantanamo Bay is shutting down now! It is, the building! The inmates are going to other jails, some in US and some with our allies, but hey that old building is getting shut down, so everything is ok right? LOL right! Propaganda tells people that guns are bad, yet if every Amarican owned a gun then it would be a lot harder for people to murder or mug anyone. Just like if the people on the planes had guns, 9/11 probably wouldn't have happened. Don't trust your TV's! Do your own research and get the facts people!
I hope that everyone here understands that we can use propaganda to spread our ideals it is a well used cliche but even small efforts will change at least some people, even the T-Shirts will help but if you talk to your friends, family, co-workers the ideas will spread dont keep them to yourself and threads on the internet tell people what you believe.
