It is sad to say, and i really hate it, but Obama will loose. They have already decided that many Absentee ballots from overseas voters will not count. And that whole thing with Virginia. Its all a sign.

The washington run by whites is doing there work.

Absentee ballots wouldn't be enough to rig the election. And i heard the same thing you just said about whites running washington and people said they'd never "let" Obama be the nominee. I believe these things are fairy tale propaganda put out there. Most important thing is to get into the voting booth and VOTE. Vote early if you can.

How can you be and advocate of 'every vote counting' but for some reason, absentee ballots don't? i don't get that...

Actually what you shoulda started advocating a while ago is fair and equal voting, which the signs are already out that thats not going to happen again this year... Everyone should've seen either 'Unprecedented' or 'Free For All' to know that GWB never won an election fairly, and theres really nothing stopping that from happening again this year...

I hadn't heard about absentee ballots not counting. That sounds to me like the BS bulletins sent to people telling them that voting is on November 5th, or that their polls have moved.

well all i'm saying is that its happened before, and there are plenty of tactics the GOP has used in the past, so it would be a little naive to say they won't pull it again. We may disagree on candidates or whatever, but the point is rigging elections isn't good for any of us, and its kinda important to know the different techniques that have been used before (cause they've used plenty of different ones)

Yeah, I hope you don't take anything I say TOO seriously in tone. I know there's rigging on local levels that goes on, but even better then to have a CRAZY turnout that would be very hard to explain when the polls are up, exit polls are up , and it would make cheating look like a red herring. The one thing about rigging the electronic setups is that the paper ballots don't match the electronic rigging. I think this time, it's going to be harder for them to rig, because the Democrats know what time it is. In the words of Willie Nelson, this time we have to steal our votes back.

According to the Associated Press, 30 percent of military voters who requested absentee ballots in 2000 did not receive them in time to have their vote counted. In 2000, roughly 250,000 military voters applied to vote absentee. Now, with hundreds of thousands of additional troops posted in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere, the number of military personnel interested in voting absentee is expected to soar. Nearly 350,000 applications had already been requested as of mid-July.

now...just think, that this happened then, do you really thing it wont happen this election? when the same rules and laws are in place for us soldiers voting overseas? with very little, to no changes to the laws.

But anecdotal evidence collected from local voting districts, which number more than 7,000, points to ballots that arrived late, ballots not properly filled out and ballots mailed to the wrong location - most of which get discarded. Then there are the ballots of troops who, for whatever reason, never mailed them back at all.

there are tooooo many rules to letting us voted from overseas.

"Melville, MELVILLE! who are we voting for again?"..."the nigger" priceless lol cuz i could see it happening...a k chronicles comic i read in the surge, a local free paper. unfortunately last week, first time finding it in a while, its all about Spears and her possible comeback(typically not a shallow production), but the strip was golden...it was of an obama supporter going door to door polling who will be our next pres. when was the last time youve even heard someone make a stink about him being black?
