Northern Kentucky University arrests student organizer for passing out condoms on campus

Dennis Chaney, a student at Northern Kentucky University and leader of a student group advocating for better sex education and access to contraception, was arrested while distributing condoms at a freshman orientation event on campus.
Video from rhrealitycheck.org featured my story on their website.
NKU's Student Senate votes on a resolution condemning the actions of the university Nov 3rd.

funny thing... condoms are passed out like candy at my HIGHSCHOOL. college should pass them out like tests.
So you'd only get 2 condoms per class? What does that solve?
no lol you go to the office and ask and they give you whatever you want.
That's just crazy. On what grounds was this student arrested on?
I was arrested for "Disorderly Conduct" Basically I asserted my rights to be there as a registered Student org, and I again asserted my rights than condoms can be distributed to minors, students, anyone as protected by supreme court decisions.

You don't have to obey an unlawful order. I didn't. Now the policy for Freshman orientation's Ban on Condoms and safe sex information is changing. Sometimes you have to stand up for your rights and accept the consequences to bring real change.
Really it's kind of crazy to have a ban on Condoms and safe sex information for Freshman to begin with.
Why am I not finding anything about this in the news, anywhere. I've searched Google News and nothing comes up.

This doesn't seem to make sense, as Northern Kentucky University gives out free condoms:

While your link didn't work, I found the story.

He could have just as easily passed out the condoms at another time, or talked to the school beforehand. It seems this is just a case of a poorly thought-out plan gone wrong. Especially in a school that gives out free condoms through its health services.

Then again, I could be wrong
bad timing. that's all.
I didn't know that handing out condoms was considered sexual innuendo. The sign stating Bombing for Peace is like F^@*ing for Virginity, as great as it sounds, might have been the statement that drew the line for the higher authority. Even so, freedom of speech is freedom of speech, i don't think you should have been asked to leave.
How in the world did he make the cop put his hands on him and arrest him when all he did was put his hand on a paper? That makes absolutely no sense. It seems like the school was just trying to find a way to get rid of your signs (Because they probably didn't agree with them) and just used this as an excuse.
