Hayden Panettiere

Am I the only one saddened by her 'political' video? Loving animals too, I really admired her for standing up for dolphins. But this video is just wrong. She's putting down McCain for being old. She's using the f word freely. Is this the message we want to go out to new and young voters? This isn't a junior high beef, this is our country and our lives at stake. I want Americans to vote using their intelligence. Too many celebrities think we truly care about their political stances, when a large majority of them haven't even graduated from high school. I'm so disappointed in this choice she made. The negativity in this country has reached an all-time high or low, either one fits. If she feels passionately about this election, stand up in a positive way, don't spew out more toxic waste.

I agree for the most part - I don't think it has any precedence however if someone has not graduated from high school to be politically literate for lack of a better term - but I have not seen the video - I am certainly going to youtube it now! thanks!

While I find most your arguments fine, I still don't get the whole "f-word" thing...

But then again, I'm one of those crazy liberal Europeans the Republicans are so scared of.

I thoght the video was a joke. No, not "I can't believe she did this" She's a joke, type thing.....the PSA, even when posted(at least where I saw it) was named a "fake PSA"...it was not, in my opinion, real... I would think it more as a satire....or sarcastic joke. I dunno. I hate the whole campaign this term, how childish everything always is with politics, never actually factual,...but I thought this was hilarious. I'm not saying McCain's a horrible person, but I just thought it was funny. It made me laugh...

I agree with Jessica Miranda. The fact that someone didn't graduate high school shouldn't affect how we perceive them. People aren't automatically less intelligent just because they haven't finished high school. I have a lot of friends who did not graduate, and some of them are smarter than I am...and I'm no idiot either. *shrugs*

If I'm a horrible person for thinking her PSA was hilarious, then so be it. I didn't take anyting more than a grain of salt from what she said, and that's probably what was expected. I don't think someone as smart as Hayden would do something like that without meaning it for entertainment value alone. This is an important election, and although I may not agree with her making a joke of it, thats all I see it as....and it was funny.
