I have talked about this with my friends and know i want to know what you think. Is porn demeaning to women? I mean they get paid to do it and it keeps them feed and with houses but i can also see the part about now women are only seen as sex toys to be had then cast aside. Im kinda caught in the middle about this issue.
It's demeaning to people.
There are probably some women out there that are doing it strictly for the money, and are strong minded enough not to let it affect them emotionally. But, some might have a history of sexual and mental abuse.
As for the people watching it. It’s sad that people feel the need to get gratification form a video instead of an actual person. To miss out on real relationships. If you think about it, it's kind of a mild form of necrophilia. When someone is watching it, its not real, its not alive. They are getting off on a lifeless object.
It's also sad that society trains us to value looks, over personality.
.
I'm sorry I didn't know my hand was dead. I'm also sorry that you feel like the people in it are lifeless. Yeah, they may lack in soul and spirit. There's absolutely nothing wrong with porno. Are you going to tell me that exhibitionism is a problem? Granted it may not be something you want to see but, who's forcing you to watch. For some it's not feeling a need to get gratification from a video instead of an actual person, actually not everyone has that easy of a times being with someone, some have a hard time finding someone, some prefer to be single, some just like porno. Me personally I love porn, the more bizarre the better. It's what it internet was made for besides communication and pirating movies and music. And one more a history of sexual and mental abuse makes strippers not porn stars. Business and a love for sex and being watch makes a porn star. It's not society's fault that people value looks over personality. It's human interest. If that were really true I'd be worried I'd die a virgin. You can call me a pervert, sick, or just a mind f**ked a**hole for this but, I think I'm pretty damn normal. I also believe that every girl I've been with I've treated with the up most respect. Granted the aftermath was never pretty on either end. Porn had nothing to do with making society f**ked up. Our own perversions did. Not to mention there are contracts, the women pick their partner and what they do, they're not forced into anything. If it's at all demeaning it'd be on both parties. And for the record I feel bad for who ever slept with Ron Jeremy.
not by anymeans and on top of it no one forces these girls to do these things. there is many many females that get off to porn as well maybe not as many but it doesnt matter. the fact of the matter is no one forces anyone to do anything they have the choice to do these things or go get a different job. im not saying i agree with porn but who are we to tell someone else how to live. i mean i live in this country so that i can do as i wish if that involves me watching other people have sex LEGALLY then why shouldnt i be able to...

NO I know someone VERY well she did it for the money and quit to go back to school and she did end up getting a degree and a job in her field. She actually meet a writer/photographer who has a book published on the real aspects of this job. In the end it matters on the person and what they believe and what drives them to survive.
Yes, because jacking off to porn is just like fucking a corpse...
I mean, I know that some of the actresses really fuck up on acting and their enjoyment seems pretty fake, but to call them lifeless is kind of harsh don't you think.
he's not saying (correct me if i'm wrong brian!) that the actresses are lifeless he's saying the act of watching it is taking away from the realness of actually having sex or making love to a companion!
I will try to hold myself back, even though I find the whole idea of certain words being worse than others to be ridiculous. I try to hold back, as I know that in the States it tends to be quite a delicate topic. However, I feel that my strong reply here was not out of bounds.
My main point as well still stands that it is ridiculous to compare watching porn to necrophilia.
