PLEASE EVERYONE HELP With a Really Good IDEA with The Daily Show and The Colbert Report!!!!!!

The is the Link to leave comedy central messages and comments about there shows. If we the fight with tools community all leave a message say something like:

Dear Comedy Central, I was leaving a message to ask you if you would have the Flobots on The Daily Show and the Colbert Report. The are great innovative musicians and a very socially rared towards positive change in America.
Thank you for you time.

If they get flooded with all of us sending them message then some one will have to look into to it and I truly believe they would have them on as guest and then they would be able to plug Fight With Tools and our community could grow exponentially.

I think this is a good idea and Im going to send them the messege right now. I hope others will too. Fill free to cut and paste what I wrote.

Word I am with you! We need to get out and make this site known... I was just thinking if the government would try to shut it down... But think about the Ellen show I think we would appeal to her audence as well. I have a question would it be a good idea to make flyers about the site and hand them out? I have been wanting to but conserned that someone somewhere would talk shit and try to distroy it. Write me and let me know your thoughts.

I know that we've, Philly Street Team, have handed out flyers about fightwithtools at a flobots concert and a large awareness festival in the city. I wouldn't let someone talking shit or destroying some of them stop you from distributing them. Not everyone will approach it negatively nor can anyone destroy them all. Having a percentage of your flyers thrown away or ignored is the nature of the beast, but the percentage that put it in their pocket and check out the site later is worth it. THE ONLY TRUE FAILURE IS INACTION!

I’m down. I had a similar idea for Rolling stone Magazine.
I wrote a letter that I have posted on my profile titled "my letter to the world" I emailed it to CNN and other news sources.

I think this is a great idea... one of the best I've heard. One of the things that I think is preventing getting more people on board is that they do not know about the Flobots and fightwithtools.org. If we can get the word out beyond "word of mouth" then why not. I'm definitely writing to the Daily Show

Are there any trade mark or copyright thing i should know when making flyers, or is there a templet of a flyer to downloads somewere or somthing. Im going to the concert in detroit and I think hand out flyers is the least I could do.

I'm not sure what the copywrite issues may be. I know the member Flobot 13 does the Flobot comics and works with them, so you can drop him a line if you want to make sure. But there was an entire forum on the logo, which incorporated people's ideas for flyers as well. The ones we handed out were on that forum as well. People were just creating their own though, so let your creative juices fly.

OK, I just wrote this to comedy central. Anyone can use it. Its wordy though... can't do it any other way.

Dear Comedy Central, I was leaving a message to ask you if you would have the Flobots on The Daily Show and/or the Colbert Report. The Flobots are an indie Hip-Hop band out of Denver who not only have a violist and trumpet player, but also a social activist message asking for change in America. Their hit song, "Handlebars" has received much radio play, but their message of community outreach and involvement; outrage over military interventions; and change for this country for the better inspires their entire album, Fight With Tools. They have also started a non-profit organization of the same name to organize people to rise together for a better America. I think both your program and its viewers will be benefitted by their appearence. Thank you.
