Grassroots Economy??
In the course of human history leaders with power and without the interests of the people in mind have created systems of finance that themselves become tyrannical. When a people come face to face with the shackles that oppress them, they not only have the right, but the moral obligation to usurp said tyranny, for both themselves, those they fight for, and any future posterity.
President Wilson once stated-"I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men."
And this is still the same source of concentrated credit that today feeds our nation, and is our monetary policy. And so today I ask you, when is it enough? The usurpation of rights, of liberties, the destruction of we the people and the formation of a new class of serfs. When is the metaphorical line drawn in the sand? For I say to you, its been long more than I can bear. Take this to heart, and think carefully, for may have to live as you speak…
Lol, sorry, I just kinda started w that and it took away. But, ok, seriously I just wanna get peoples opinions on this, and kinda brain storm too, it got brought up in an earlier discussion about farmers markets and stuff, and me and Hez (and actually there’s a discussion on this too) were talking about making an HHO or Hydrogen car today (because it very possible) and I think it would be a great idea to network, markets, skills and ideas, that (but hopefully not) may one day be necessary. Can anyone say new currency? Maybe, maybe not, too bad the liberty dollar got shut down..

Sadly most americans are not aware that they are a new class of "serfs". I agree with W. Wilson's quote, although he is known to have been a racist.
Check this out.
Wilson's words were repeatedly quoted in the film The Birth of a Nation, which is notable for its blatant racism. Thomas Dixon, author of the novel The Clansman upon which the film is based, was one of Wilson's graduate school classmates at Johns Hopkins in 1883-1884. Dixon arranged a special White House preview (this was the first time a film was shown in the White House) without telling Wilson what the film was about. There is debate about whether Wilson made the statement, "It is like writing history with lightning; my only regret is that it is all so terribly true."

Also much of the money invested in Hydrogen car developement is comming from Big Oil. So don't expect to see too much change as far as new companies. But hey, At least it will be better for the enviorment.....

dudes japan has already pattented a water powered car!! the usa is fighting them bringing thier business here as usual i posted a discussion sbout it a few weeks back i say to get them to let us buy those cars we have to first let people know about them and the govt sure isnt gonna do that so tell everyone you know by the way we never needed fossil fuels resaerch nikola tesla too bad theres no way to get rich off free energy or else the whole world would have power

I'm not so sure about that. The big oil companies are run by money men. They know better than anyone that their time in the oil business is running out. So I'm sure that, for the most part, their efforts to produce alternative energies will be sincere. After all; they want to remain money men.

As of right now, becuase of the Federal Reserve System, nothing is backing the U.S. dollar, it used to be gold. Now they make money anytime they want. It can only hold together for so long. I dont know which president it was but one of of them said someting like "Our Democracy has to be refreshed from time to time." They gave us the permission. it is our constututional right. We better get refreshing.

Thomas Jefferson- God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. We have had 13. states independent 11. years. There has been one rebellion. That comes to one rebellion in a century & a half for each state. What country before ever existed a century & half without a rebellion? & what country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. It is it's natural manure.

We discussed this exact quote in my criminal justice class this past week. It's been roughly 40 years since we had such a rebellion. There have been patches here and there, but since the 60's there hasn't been a true rebellion.
